About the position
The Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Clerk at Ingenium Aerospace plays a crucial role in managing the logistics of parts and materials within a fast-paced aerospace and defense subcontractor environment. This position requires a highly energetic individual capable of multitasking and communicating effectively across various departments. The clerk will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and inventory management, ensuring compliance with quality standards and operational efficiency. The role also involves adapting to changing priorities and supporting different areas of the organization as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and developing the shipping and receiving area.
- Manage the loading dock area and ensure compliance with packaging standards.
- Interact with the ERP system for shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks.
- Work with the quality department to ensure all parts are inspected and received according to guidelines.
- Participate in inventory management, including picking, kitting, and cycle counting.
- Support other operational areas as required by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of applicable experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, or operations roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to drive projects to completion.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping requirements.
- Experience with Quantum Control ERP software.
- Understanding of barcoding and scanning processes.
- Knowledge of ITAR principles and procedures.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks Enterprise (PDM).
- Understanding of AS9100 principles and procedures.
