About The Position
Clow Valve's Machine Shop has an opening for a 2nd Shift Shipping Forklift. Shift : Monday-Thursday 3pm-1am Starting Wage: $27.29; Qualified Wage: $27.67 Health insurance available after 60 days $500 sign on bonus after 120 day probationary period. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Visually assessing and clearing their traffic area of people, objects, and other forklift traffic. Inspect loads verifying they are secure for transport and accurate. Transfer to designated location throughout the facility by complying with all safety rules and regulations. Inspecting their forklift and filling out inspection paperwork. General Clean up of work area
Requirements
- Must be able to operate moving vehicles, including crane, truck, or forklift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand up to 2 hours per day.
- Ability to utilize PPE including: safety glasses, hearing protection, metatarsal guarded boots, and others required.
- Ability to understand and operate forklift in a safe manner.
