About The Position

This position is responsible for picking, packing, palletizing, labeling, and shipping customer orders. It also involves loading/unloading trucks, supporting the paint process (loading/unloading, part labeling and inventory transactions, part inspection), assembly of small parts, and operating bushing presses.

Requirements

Must be mechanically inclined and able to use hand tools.
Must be able to use basic inspection equipment such as calipers, mics, torque wrenches and various gauges and other tools.
Must be able to read blueprints.
Must have good understanding of inventory control.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Must have or be able to obtain a fork truck license.
Must recognize the importance of working in a safe manner.
Ability to understand what constitutes quality products.
Possess basic math skills.
Average or above average skills in numeric and visual recall.
Must be computer literate.
Teamwork: Able to communicate effectively, participate as a member of a team and work well with others to maximize efficiency.
Quality: Familiar with company policies and demonstrates knowledge of relevant procedures and importance of producing quality products.
Safety: Follows general and equipment specific safety rules. Uses appropriate safety protection equipment and other safety devices.
Adaptability: Positive to change associated with TBS efforts.

Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Picking, packing, palletizing, labeling, and shipping customer orders.
Loading/unloading trucks.
Support for paint process including loading/unloading, part labeling and inventory transactions, and part inspection.
Assembly of small parts.
Operating bushing presses.
Handle parts as necessary to meet production standards.
Perform source inspection.
Perform daily TPM.
Uses stop the line authority at any sign of safety or quality concerns.
Performs daily duties per work instructions / standard work.
Completes all daily data collection as established.
Must perform daily 5S activities.
