About The Position

Penske Logistics is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to become part of an excellent team! This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant and outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment. This is a new operation located in Laredo, Texas. New hire orientation is projected to be in August.

Requirements

1-2 years of general office experience required
High School diploma or equivalent required
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

2+ years of warehouse clerk experience preferred
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
AS400 experience preferred

Responsibilities

Various office and administrative duties, which may include handling accounts payable/receivable and collections, office supplies, maintaining database and miscellaneous reporting
Involve yourself in the safety team as required by location
Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements
Communication with drivers, operators, customers on site, and leadership team
Daily use of Outlook, Excel, and Blue Yonder
Look for missing product in storage locations
Work with checkers to ensure accurate receipt of inventory
Audit inbound receipts, both physically and through receipt documentation
Accurately input required data elements into WMS and various other applications
Audit existing data for inaccurate data
Accurately identify, log, and document potential damages
Assist with daily and weekly reports
Other projects and tasks assigned by supervision
