About The Position

VMAC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipper to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing, packaging, and coordinating outgoing shipments while ensuring accuracy, safety, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail and understands the importance of accurate shipping documentation, inventory records, and order verification to ensure products are shipped correctly and efficiently. Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, this role is responsible for preparing, packaging, and coordinating outgoing shipments while ensuring accuracy, safety, and on-time delivery.

Requirements

Minimum secondary school diploma
One-year related shipping experience preferred.
Must be able to work in team environment.
Precise and detail orientated.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Complete carrier waybills (computer or hand generated) in accordance with Supply Chain and/or Sales department instructions for shipments.
Pick and pack parts.
Follow up paperwork with carriers as required.
Complete customs documentation as required.
Generate shipping quotes.
Track and maintain accurate shipment records.
Ensure products are packaged safely to prevent damage during transit.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.
Package goods, assemblies or kits as required.
Other duties as required.
