About the position
As a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, you will lead store operations during your shift, ensuring a high-quality customer experience and guiding a team of baristas. This role emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and the ability to maintain a positive and energetic store environment. You will be responsible for modeling operational standards, motivating team members, and delivering expertly-crafted products while fostering a sense of belonging and connection among partners and customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead each shift and manage store operations to ensure quality customer service.
- Motivate and guide team members to create an uplifting experience for customers and partners.
- Maintain store safety and security standards, including cash handling procedures.
- Train and coach baristas in preparing food and beverages according to standard recipes.
- Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality among team members.
Requirements
- 1 year of customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
- 6 months of experience in a position requiring constant interaction with customers.
- 6 months of experience delegating tasks to other employees or coordinating tasks of multiple employees.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
