About the position
As a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, you will lead store operations during your shift, ensuring a high-quality customer experience and guiding a team of baristas. This role emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and the ability to maintain a positive and energetic store environment. You will be responsible for upholding Starbucks' operational standards and fostering a culture of connection and belonging among partners and customers alike.
Responsibilities
- Lead each shift and work alongside baristas to deliver quality customer service.
- Act as a role model for store operations standards and the Starbucks Experience.
- Motivate and guide team members to create an uplifting environment.
- Ensure compliance with cash handling and store safety protocols.
- Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Requirements
- Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment - 1 year.
- Six months of experience in a position that required constant interaction with customers.
- At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees or coordinating tasks of two or more employees.
- Ability to direct the work of others and learn quickly.
- Effective oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
