About the position
As a Shift Manager at a Valluzzo Company owned McDonald's restaurant, you will play a vital role in the operations of the restaurant. This position requires you to lead important internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management. You will be responsible for effectively delegating tasks to team members and reporting back results. Additionally, you will support the General Manager in achieving restaurant performance and quality standards across kitchen operations, staff management, and guest service. Teamwork is essential, as you will partner with the restaurant team to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead important internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
- Delegate tasks to team members and report back results
- Supervise food quality, safety, cost, and new menu items
- Hire, train, and schedule restaurant staff to meet sales and profit goals
- Deliver a memorable guest experience by ensuring all staff is trained
- Organize key service areas within the restaurant to provide the best service
- Monitor performance during shifts and ensure team meets McDonald's standards
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for the next shift
Requirements
- Commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace

- Ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs
- Ability to provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment
- Must be 18 years or older
