About the position
The Shift Manager at DRM Inc. is responsible for leading and inspiring a team to provide exceptional service in a restaurant environment. This role emphasizes personal and professional development, ensuring a positive customer experience while maintaining a clean and safe restaurant. The Shift Manager will also play a key role in coaching team members and fostering a fun and engaging workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the team to ensure customers have a positive and inviting experience.
- Ensure the restaurant remains clean and adheres to maintenance and food safety guidelines.
- Adapt to various situations to support the team's abilities in meeting customer needs.
- Remain calm and utilize knowledge to help diffuse and resolve customer issues and employee wellness concerns.
- Provide coaching and positive feedback to team members to develop their skills.
- Build positive relationships with customers and coworkers to enhance quality of life.
- Foster a fun and engaging work environment.
Requirements
- Desire to grow and succeed in personal and professional development.
- Strong, effective people-oriented relationship skills.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs and use hands for food preparation.
- Drive, determination, punctuality, and responsibility in working scheduled shifts.
- Experience leading a diverse team in a restaurant capacity preferred.
- Valid driver's license and insurance with an adequate driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours and independently with various personalities.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
