About the position

HOODZ of Greater MI has been cleaning kitchen exhaust systems (hoods) at NIGHT in restaurant kitchens for over ten years. We are expanding in the Greater Detroit area and have openings for Lead Tech and Spray Tech positions. The Lead Tech is responsible for the safety of the crew, quality, and completion of the job, while the Spray Tech is an entry-level position that requires no prior experience as we will provide training. We place a large emphasis on fire safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Typically, we clean two restaurants per night while they are closed, working Sunday through Thursday night from approximately 8 PM to 6 AM, with hours varying depending on the job.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of the crew as a Lead Tech.
• Oversee the quality and completion of the job as a Lead Tech.
• Perform cleaning of kitchen exhaust systems as a Spray Tech.
• Follow fire safety protocols during cleaning operations.
• Maintain customer satisfaction through quality service.

Requirements

• No experience needed for Spray Tech position as training will be provided.
• Experience in a similar role preferred for Lead Tech position.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in kitchen cleaning or maintenance is a plus for Lead Tech.
