About the position
The Service Technician role at TanMar Companies involves providing essential support in the oil and gas industry by servicing job site locations, rigging equipment, and performing maintenance tasks. The position requires reliability and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed. Technicians will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment, ensuring high-quality service delivery to meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Service job site locations and rig equipment up or down.
- Move equipment from one site to another.
- Perform repair and maintenance of equipment in the yard or shop.
- Stock houses to suit customer needs.
- Receive orders from dispatch and respond accordingly.
- Troubleshoot, test, repair, and service equipment for housing trailers.
- Lift heavy supplies and equipment as required.
- Work flexible shifts and travel occasionally.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or as a service technician, preferably in the oil & gas industry.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in the oil & gas industry is preferred.
