About the position
The Service Technician I position at Westminster Management involves performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of properties. The role focuses on providing exceptional service to residents and maintaining the quality of living environments. Technicians will engage in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance work, contributing to the overall satisfaction of residents and the upkeep of the community.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and plumbing maintenance including repairs and replacements of fixtures, outlets, and appliances.
- Conduct painting, carpentry, HVAC, and masonry work to maintain and enhance property aesthetics.
- Complete all maintenance service requests in a timely manner.
- Process make-ready tasks for vacant apartments to prepare them for new residents.
- Maintain grounds and ensure the property is clean and well-kept.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience in property maintenance or related trade.
- Proficiency in the use of general maintenance equipment, including hand tools and power tools.
- HVAC experience preferred.
