Service & Repair Electrician Cary

About the position

This position performs and coordinates the installation and service of electrical products and services in a residential and light commercial setting. The role involves overseeing apprentices, installation, repair, and maintenance of residential electrical equipment and services, troubleshooting electrical malfunctions, and determining the extent of necessary repairs. The electrician will work with blueprints, electrical schematics, and job specifications, identify proper materials for projects, and use the Straight Forward Pricing Guide to present repair or installation options and complete safety inspections.

Responsibilities

• Installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical equipment and services
• Determine general condition of all electrical equipment, troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, and determine the extent of necessary repairs
• Work with and understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and job specifications as it applies to your craft
• Identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects
• Use the Straight Forward Pricing Guide, accurately present repair or installation options, and complete safety inspections

Requirements

• 6+ years of residential electrician experience
• Must have local and state electrical licenses as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background check and drug screening
• Clean driving record
• Ability to communicate effectively to clients about issues and provide accurate solutions
