The Service Project Manager is responsible for organizing service projects by accepting new projects from Administration, collecting and completing all needed project documentation, analyzing project timelines, and understanding project requirements. The role involves collaborating with the Operation Supervisor on the needed commissioning workload timeline and coordinating with the engineering and programming team as needed for proper scheduling. Additionally, the Service Project Manager hires electrical subcontractors by reviewing competitive bid information, communicating with Sales as necessary, creating and maintaining proper subcontract documentation, and enforcing proper execution of subcontract documents. The position also entails ordering project materials, directing electrical subcontractors, billing construction projects, and communicating project information effectively with various stakeholders. The Service Project Manager completes service projects by assisting technicians with organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling start-up assignments, and prepares project close-out documentation. Achieving financial objectives and maintaining technical knowledge in the industry are also key responsibilities.
