About the position

The Service Porter at Peter Boulware Toyota is responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting and assisting service customers, parking their vehicles, and offering courtesy shuttle services. This entry-level position plays a crucial role in maintaining the service drive's cleanliness and organization while ensuring a positive experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome service customers as they arrive.
• Park vehicles for customers and provide courtesy shuttle service.
• Move cars on and off the Service Drive.
• Perform a Quick Alignment check as cars come in.
• Keep the Service Drive clean and free of debris.
• Place protective plastic on seats and paper mats on the floor of all incoming cars.
• Safely retrieve and deliver serviced vehicles to customers.
• Remove hang tags, protective plastic on seats, and paper mats on the floor of all departing cars.
• Keep keys organized for easy quick retrieval.
• Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of all Service areas.

Requirements

• A clean driving record and valid driver's license is REQUIRED.
• Must present themselves in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers.
• Must be dependable and reliable.
• Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time as well as work outside.
• Must be able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
• Must have basic computer knowledge.
