The Service Manager at Mint Eco Car Wash plays a pivotal role in leading the team to consistently deliver a 'Five Star' guest and employee experience. We Exist to Make People Happy. This role requires a strong team leader who can foster a positive work environment, ensure adherence to policies and procedures, and provide high-quality customer service that goes beyond physical service delivery. You are responsible for all aspects of both the interior and detail department. All line staff and detailers report directly to you.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure exceptional guest and employee experiences are consistently delivered.
  • Manage and supervise the daily operations of the interior and detail departments.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and maintain cleanliness and organization standards.
  • Train, mentor, and provide feedback to line staff and detailers to enhance performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and report generation.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that both the detail and interior departments meet or exceed their budgeted revenue.
  • Responsible for departmental P&L, including all variable expenses.
  • Deliver profitability within budgeted parameters while maintaining high standards of service quality.
  • Oversee quality control processes and ensure the timely delivery of vehicles to our members and guests.
  • Manage employee schedules, optimize staffing levels for operations, and achieve/exceed the provided labor budget.
  • Collaborate with the AGM to develop and train employees for ongoing growth.
  • Open and close the site as required, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Conduct interviews for new hires and participate in the selection process.
  • Manage supply ordering and ensure proper organization within the department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a management role, preferably in the retail or service industry.
  • Bilingual - Proficient in English and Spanish.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, and capacity to work 50-55 hours per week.

  • Experience in the car wash or automotive detailing industry.
  • Practical knowledge and experience in financial management principles.
  • Experience with employee training and development programs.
