About the position
The Service Leader at Chipotle is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience by overseeing food quality and safety, training restaurant crew, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role involves active participation in daily operations, supporting crew performance, and assisting with administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Making sure great tasting, high quality food is served
- Helping to resolve food quality issues
- Supporting food safety, including monitoring hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature on the line, and ensuring compliance with food safety policies
- Helping to resolve customer incidents and ensuring positive customer experiences
- Monitoring crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules
- Developing and cross-training front of house Crew
- Assisting with Crew performance reviews
- Developing future Service Leaders
- Assisting with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking and cash handling
- Ensuring office equipment remains in working order and ordering office supplies as necessary
- Ensuring the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed
Requirements
- Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
- Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
- Familiarity with office paperwork
- Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
- High school diploma
- Restaurant experience
