About the position

As a Service Engineer specializing in BROMMA spreaders, you will be responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of BROMMA container handling equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance and reliability of spreaders in various operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation and commissioning of BROMMA spreaders at customer sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational requirements.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing effective repair solutions.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers and service teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Train customer personnel on the proper operation and maintenance of BROMMA spreaders.
• Develop training materials and documentation as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records, including maintenance logs and service reports.
• Provide feedback to engineering teams for product improvements based on field experiences.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the company for service-related inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a service engineer or technician, preferably in the material handling or container handling industry.
• Familiarity with BROMMA spreaders or similar equipment is highly desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., electrical, mechanical) are a plus.
