In this role, you will be responsible for greeting customers warmly upon their arrival, assisting them with check-in, and addressing any inquiries they may have. You will provide information about service processes, estimated wait times, and available services, ensuring a smooth and positive experience throughout their visit. Additionally, you will coordinate appointments, manage service appointment calendars, and relay customer concerns to service advisors. Your ability to maintain a clean and comfortable waiting area, along with your attention to customer comfort, will be essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere. The Service Department Greeter will also be involved in various administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and assisting with data entry. Collaboration with service advisors and other staff members is key to ensuring efficient service operations, and your contributions during team meetings will help improve the overall customer experience. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly upon arrival and offer assistance.
  • Check in customers for service appointments and verify their information.
  • Provide information about service processes, estimated wait times, and available services.
  • Direct customers to appropriate service advisors or waiting areas.
  • Schedule service appointments and confirm existing ones.
  • Assist in managing service appointment calendars.
  • Relay customer concerns or special requests to service advisors.
  • Communicate with customers regarding any delays or changes in their service status.
  • Ensure the waiting area is clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with refreshments and reading materials.
  • Address any customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service requests.
  • Assist with data entry and other clerical tasks as needed.
  • Work closely with service advisors and other staff to ensure efficient service operations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving the customer experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using office equipment and software (e.g., computer systems, phone systems).
