About the position

The Service Delivery Trainer at Keolis Commuter Services is responsible for implementing training initiatives to enhance employee effectiveness through the development and monitoring of training programs. This role involves conducting various trainings focused on railroad safety and regulatory guidelines, ensuring compliance with Keolis policies and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Implement training initiatives to maximize employee effectiveness.
  • Develop and monitor training programs related to railroad safety and regulatory guidelines.
  • Administer and instruct Transportation training segments relevant to Conductor in Training and New Hire Engineer certification programs.
  • Support and monitor operational practices to ensure quality service and a safe workplace.
  • Assist in the design and development of training curriculum to meet needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet training standards and expectations.
  • Schedule Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and prepare for field training as necessary.
  • Maintain attendance, evaluations, and test records during training sessions.
  • Provide written training documentation and reports as needed.
  • Support the development of the annual Training Plan for the Transportation Department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work-related experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, highly confidential environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in railroad operations and implementing training plans.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in developing training materials and curriculums.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance training for transportation staff.
