The Service Deli Coordinator is responsible for teaching and providing efficient and courteous service to Food City shoppers. This role involves supervising, training, and developing qualified Service Deli associates, managing them to maximize sales and profitability, and assisting in the management of labor and work schedules. The coordinator will also input to performance reviews for Service Deli associates, merchandise Service Deli cases, and assist with ordering and maintaining inventory according to the department's needs. Responsibilities include receiving and rotating all products ordered, maintaining proper pricing, and ensuring a clean department according to company standards. The coordinator will enforce and maintain all safety policies and procedures, promote sales through active and passive sampling, and implement training on recipes according to company standards. Additionally, the coordinator is responsible for maintaining all departmental paperwork, ensuring quality and freshness of products, reporting equipment maintenance issues, and upholding company health, safety, and HAACP programs.
