About the position
The Service Crew Foreman is responsible for leading a small crew in various construction tasks, particularly focusing on underground utilities and site development. This role requires hands-on experience in construction, including concrete work and storm drain installation, while also overseeing the crew's daily operations and ensuring quality control.
Responsibilities
- Lead a crew of 3-4 workers in construction tasks.
- Oversee punch out and pipe work for site development and road construction.
- Manage underground utilities and storm drain installation.
- Conduct testing of water and main sewers.
- Adapt to changing job duties as directed by management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management.
- Knowledge of utility locating and underground utilities.
- Experience with concrete work and storm drain installation.
- Ability to manage budgets and cost control.
- Valid Driver's License and supervisory experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with building sewers and mudding.
- Versatility in handling various construction tasks.
