About the position

Copper Vine is seeking an experienced and hospitality-minded Service Assistant to join their polished-casual restaurant team in New Orleans. This high-paced role involves supporting Servers and Bartenders by providing friendly and prompt service while learning the steps of service. The position offers opportunities for promotion into other roles once the necessary skills are mastered, with both full-time and part-time positions available.

Responsibilities

• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff.
• Provide best-in-class hospitality.
• Arrange table settings.
• Ensure the restaurant is clean and tidy at all times.
• Serve food and beverage to Copper Vine Guests.
• Keep service stations and storage clean & organized.
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the Hospitality or Restaurant Industry
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• Active listening
