About The Position

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience as a service advisor.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record in the state of employment.
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a positive, high-energy attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a process-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet service customers promptly and courteously in a professional manner.
  • Inspect vehicles and review service history to identify and verify customer service needs accurately.
  • Promote sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by understanding product features and service requirements.
  • Provide accurate estimates for service costs and completion times, obtaining proper authorization from customers.
  • Monitor service progress and communicate any changes regarding costs, estimated time of delivery, or additional recommended services to customers.
  • Administer warranty repairs for new and used vehicles following manufacturer guidelines.
  • Confirm service appointments by telephone prior to customer arrival and conduct post-repair follow-up calls.
  • Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure all services and repairs were completed correctly and explain results to the customer.
  • Comply with state and federal laws related to automobile repair and consumer protection.
  • Uphold the company’s values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors.
