About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team at Poppa Rollo's Pizza. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service and ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, all while collaborating effectively with kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using our Point of Sale system.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Process payments, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally, striving to resolve any issues effectively.
• Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficient in bussing techniques and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and handling payments accurately.
