About The Position

At Denny’s, our Servers create the experience—not just deliver the food. This role involves welcoming guests with energy, taking accurate orders, delivering food and drinks promptly, guiding guests through the menu with recommendations, using upselling techniques to highlight specials, and enhancing the guest experience to increase check averages. Servers will also introduce guests to the Denny’s Rewards Program, maintain a clean and organized dining area, process payments efficiently, and collaborate with both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

• Experience as a Server, Waiter/Waitress, or in a guest-facing role preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence engaging with guests, making recommendations, and upselling
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Must be 18+ with flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays)
