About the position

The Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking food and drink orders, serving meals, and processing payments. This part-time role requires a friendly demeanor and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Take customer food and drink orders accurately.
• Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner.
• Process payments and handle cashiering functions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and dining areas.
• Provide information about menu items and specials to customers.
• Comply with health and safety regulations, including food handling standards.
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed.
• Support a friendly and courteous atmosphere for customers and coworkers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler Certification compliant with state regulations.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
• Basic arithmetic skills for handling financial transactions.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with POS systems.
• Previous customer service experience in a dining environment.
