About the position
Shabu Wara is seeking part-time servers, kitchen helpers, and bussers to join our dynamic team. The role focuses on providing excellent dining experiences for guests in a fast-paced environment, particularly in a Japanese restaurant setting. Candidates should be enthusiastic and possess strong guest relations skills.
Responsibilities
- Interact with guests to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Provide friendly and attentive service in a timely manner.
- Work effectively within a team in a high-volume environment.
- Assist guests with their needs and maintain great guest relations.
- Lift up to 35lbs as needed during service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred.
- Basic understanding of beer, wine, spirits, and sake preferred.
- Must hold a state and/or local food handlers card where applicable.
- Ability to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be 18 years of age or older or in accordance with state law.
- High School diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a full-service restaurant for at least 6 months.
- Upbeat, outgoing, and positive attitude.
