About the position
We are seeking an outgoing, friendly Server/Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the grocery store or quick-service fast-food restaurant industry and possess excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting menu items
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Process payments using the cash register or POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in a grocery store, quick-service fast-food restaurant, or retail environment is preferred
- Knowledge of retail math and basic math skills
- Familiarity with food handling and preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sales skills and the ability to upsell menu items
- Culinary background is a plus
