State Fund's Field Operations unit has an exciting opening for a driven Senior Marketing Representative to play a pivotal role in managing key broker relationships and driving success in the East Bay, South Bay and/or San Francisco area. Under the direct supervision of the Regional Marketing Manager, you will: Meet brokers in person to develop, maintain and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders and an assigned book of brokerages. Provide regular performance updates and progress toward incentive goals. Solicit new business opportunities in accordance with Regional Operational goals and guidelines. Collaborate with Underwriting, Loss Prevention, Auditing and Claims to secure new and renewal business. Lead and facilitate educational seminars and instructional meetings to engage and educate the brokerage community.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • At least four (4) years of underwriting, marketing or brokerage experience.
  • Expert knowledge in workers' compensation insurance.
  • The ability to develop, facilitate, and present instructional seminars and training.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • The capability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • The ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
