About the position

The Senior Workday Analyst at Proofpoint plays a crucial role in optimizing HR systems and processes, specifically focusing on the Talent Management and Benefits modules within Workday. This position is essential for supporting the end-to-end management of talent development and benefits administration, ensuring that the HR technology aligns with the company's mission to protect organizations against cyber threats. The ideal candidate will leverage their Workday expertise to enhance the employee experience through innovative HR solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday modules including Talent Management and Benefits.
  • Collaborate with HR and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into Workday solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity, conduct regular audits, and troubleshoot issues within the relevant Workday modules.
  • Analyze existing processes and workflows within talent management and benefits administration, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and implement process enhancements, automating workflows where possible to increase efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Lead system testing and regression testing for system updates and new functionality.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR and managers for Workday-related inquiries.
  • Develop and deliver training materials, user guides, and knowledge-sharing sessions for HR and end-users.
  • Provide tier-2 support for complex system issues, collaborating with Workday or Managed Support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports within Workday to support Talent Management and Benefits reporting needs.
  • Lead or support HRIS projects, including new module implementations, system upgrades, and process redesigns.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and documentation for new configurations and enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Workday, focusing on Talent Management and Benefits modules.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices, particularly in recruitment and employee benefits.
  • Proven experience in system configuration, troubleshooting, and report development within Workday.
  • Proficiency in Workday configuration, business process design, and report-writing.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Workday recruiting configuration experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
