About The Position

We are hiring immediately for an experienced warehouse worker as a Senior Warehouse Associate/Assembler at our distribution facility. Your experience and knowledge of assembly, inspection, receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and wire cutting shows how it impacts others. We are Wesco. As a Senior Associate/Assembler in Operations, you will be responsible for performing assigned warehouse tasks including assembly, inspection, receiving, picking, packing, shipping, as well as housekeeping of other assigned areas. You may also be responsible for counter sales, cycle counting and related quality assurance activities.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent required
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Electrically inclined

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of warehouse, assembly or distribution experience preferred
• Will use hand tools and will read work assembly instructions

Responsibilities

• Complete light assembly of electrical panels
• Test and inspect the work completed
• Verify purchased products and enter order receipts into system
• Separate orders and place materials in proper locations
• Pull, pack, weigh, and label materials for shipment
• Assist in loading trucks
• Assemble and disassemble bins, racks, shelves, and tables
• Performs special customer quality assurance inspections
• Counter sales
• Cycle counting
• Housekeeping of other assigned areas
