About the position

The Senior UX Designer will join the DPS Service Design team, engaging in the complete design process of digital products and services. This role emphasizes user-centric design, focusing on understanding user needs and pain points while advocating for a design system that enhances the user experience across various platforms, particularly mobile.

Responsibilities

• Design digital products and services from initial research to product implementation in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Utilize industry-standard design and research tools such as Adobe CC, Sketch, Figma, InVision, and User Testing.
• Design, build, and manage a Design System across the ecosystem of products and services.
• Plan and conduct primary and secondary research, synthesizing insights to reframe problems and provide actionable recommendations.
• Apply Human-Centered Design and Service Design Thinking approaches to create low-fidelity and high-fidelity deliverables.
• Plan and co-facilitate workshops to identify and solve complex problems.
• Create project deliverables including UI prototypes, project plans, discussion guides, insights reports, and presentations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing digital products and services as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Deep understanding of Service Design and UX Design disciplines, with proven experience in various design methodologies.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in ambiguous situations.
• Experience with Agile methodology and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
• Proficient in planning and conducting user research and testing sessions, including the creation of moderator guides.
