About the position

The Senior UI/UX Designer at DocuSign is responsible for translating functional requirements into effective designs for web applications within the Business Applications space. This role involves leading the design process from concept to implementation, conducting user research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centered design solutions that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process from concept to final implementation, ensuring high-quality and consistent user experiences across all platforms
  • Conduct user research, create user personas, and develop user journey maps to inform design decisions
  • Design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design ideas and interactions
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other partners to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve user experiences
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively apply them to enhance our products
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in web and mobile application design
  • Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, and other relevant software
  • Experience applying user-centered design principles and best practices

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with front-end development languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences
