The Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TiPM) at AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) is responsible for leading complex technical programs that bridge the gap between business and technology. This role involves managing medium to large scale software and system development programs, ensuring the delivery of AWS global infrastructure while maintaining high standards for safety and security. The TiPM will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with diverse teams to innovate and enhance existing systems and services, ultimately driving an unparalleled customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead medium to large scale software and system development programs.
- Bridge the gap between business and technology by managing technical details.
- Anticipate bottlenecks and trade-offs, providing escalation management.
- Balance business needs against technical constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high standards for safety and security.
- Drive the ability to scale while innovating and building new products.
Requirements
- 6+ years of technical program management experience.
- 6+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
- Experience in building processes and coordinating release schedules with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-haves
- 8+ years of project management experience including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs for multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
