About the position

Our Senior Recruiters serve as consultative Talent Acquisition advisors, offering expert support to OneMain hiring teams. They focus on attracting high-quality professional talent and promoting the OneMain brand across various markets and professional communities. Passionate about the candidate experience, our Senior Recruiters manage the full recruiting process and build strong relationships with senior leaders in our Operations teams nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers at various levels within OneMain to develop sourcing and recruiting strategies that meet business needs.
  • Create and implement proactive recruiting plans for open positions, new staff additions, and future talent pipelines.
  • Research, recommend, and implement innovative sourcing channels for both active and passive talent pools, supporting ongoing creative sourcing strategies.
  • Promote the benefits of a career at OneMain, highlighting our culture, business growth strategies, career development opportunities, and attractive benefits and perks.
  • Maintain excellent candidate management by proactively and professionally communicating throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coach and guide hiring manager teams on best practices to ensure a consistent and high-quality interview process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR teams to develop and present comprehensive and competitive job offers.
  • Communicate effectively with candidates through various channels, utilizing persuasive messaging to highlight the role and company benefits.
  • Serve as a mentor to peers in the Talent Acquisition team, assisting the Associate Director of Recruiting with escalations and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience in either agency or corporate environments with an emphasis on Talent Acquisition
  • Sophisticated influencing and negotiating skills
  • Proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced environment with short lead times, while delivering superior service
  • Ability to apply sound judgement in new or ambiguous situations
  • Open and eager to receive feedback and coaching
  • Sustain a high degree of composure while under pressure, maintaining a solution driven methodology

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in recruiting for a wide range and variety of positions, entry level to Director
  • Previous experience as team lead or peer mentor in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition
