About the position

The Senior Desktop Engineer at Mass General Brigham Health Plan is responsible for maintaining and supporting end-user needs, including Windows 10, mobile devices, and Office 365. This role involves troubleshooting, monitoring devices for compliance and threats, and supporting senior team members in their daily activities and projects. The position requires hands-on experience with Microsoft Modern Desktop technologies and a commitment to providing exceptional member experiences through technical strategy and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support end-user needs including Windows 10, mobile devices, and Office 365.
• Troubleshoot end-user issues and monitor devices for compliance and threats.
• Support senior team members in day-to-day activities and projects.
• Deliver Microsoft Modern Desktop technologies such as Intune, SCCM, and Office 365.
• Manage and administer Citrix Environment.
• Provide direction on group policy management of the desktop environment.
• Assist and advise the Help Desk Manager with technical road mapping.
• Document processes and provide clear communication regarding technical issues.
• Engage with external technical support including Microsoft and other vendors.
• Ensure adherence to auditing policies and Change Control processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience deploying and administering solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• At least 8 years of experience as an infrastructure solution engineer.
• Experience administering Windows Servers, IIS, and Active Directory.
• Experience as a lead technical resource on Agile-managed projects.
