About the position
The Senior System Analyst at Parsons Corporation will provide technical assistance to the Director of M&S Enterprise Engineering, focusing on design reviews, architecture standards, and managing Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). This role involves performing analysis to elicit stakeholder requirements, defining requirements through Model-based Systems Engineering, and facilitating digital engineering transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform analyst duties to elicit stakeholder requirements and mission needs
- Define requirements and perform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and tools
- Draft and review technical documents
- Support technical reviews
- Facilitate M&S and digital engineering transformation initiatives
- Represent Enterprise Engineering in agency tiger teams and working groups
Requirements
- Master's Degree and 12+ years of related professional experience OR a Bachelor's degree and 20+ years of related professional experience
- Active Secret clearance
- Experience in Missile Defense System (MDS) domain with analysis, test, and systems engineering for MDS elements
- Experience with definition, design, development, verification and validation, and analysis of M&S
- Practical experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
Nice-to-haves
- MS or Ph. D. in applicable field
- Exposure to MDA test events and activities supported by M&S products and services
- Creative thinking, problem solving, analytical thinking, strategic thinking
- Ability to work with a diverse team of engineers
- Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to non-technical and technical staff
- Ability to propose and execute project plans aligning with government customer strategic goals
