About the position

The Senior Supply Chain Manager at Amazon plays a crucial role in optimizing the supply chain processes within the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) Network Planning team. This position focuses on enhancing customer package delivery efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders across the organization to address operational challenges and implement innovative supply chain models.

Responsibilities

• Define innovative supply chain and operating models for various businesses
• Analyse and interpret large complex data sets to improve efficiency across supply chains and multiple operations
• Influence a broad set of stakeholders and partner with diverse and dynamic teams across Europe to manage complex operational challenges
• Support and drive improvement across planning and organisation of complex projects taking a big-picture approach
• Coach and develop others to build a stronger team

Requirements

• Master's degree
• Experience in program or project management
• Experience in supply chain
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Nice-to-haves

• MBA, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
• Experience leading process improvements
• Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
