About The Position

The Ads data platform team is a key team in the Ads foundation organization. This role will help build the data engine behind Coupang Ads, providing the foundational platform that manages and serves all data used in our ads-serving pipeline. We’re looking for backend experts passionate about big data and high-concurrency systems. You’ll be tasked with building a scalable, resilient, and low-latency infrastructure from the ground up, turning massive data streams into real-time business impact. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a closely related field
8 years of experience in backend software development
Experience working in cloud environments, particularly AWS
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining highly available, distributed systems
Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results
Experience building ads serving system.
Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization
Ability to work in multi-cultural, cross functional team
Experience building highly scalable and low latency systems in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
Experience leading a project of building large scale data serving platform
Proficiency in Java and the Spring Frameworks

Ability and desire to drive solid design work on multi-threaded/multi-process, distributed system
A passion to explore, improve, automate and optimize distributed systems and tools
Proven ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional, fast-paced environments

Experience with Spark/Hive/Redis//Kafka
