About The Position

This position will provide support to DGS-X including: Development, integration, sustainment, and operations. Contractor specific experience in L3HARRIS-RMS software build and release process, on a full-time basis at DGS-X. Technical support with skills in CICS, JSP, NCCT, HookDet, CIDS (AGS) software engineering, system engineering configuration management and remote software deployment for utilization across the Enterprise Service Desk and Test Facility Lab. Support includes 24/7/365 onsite coverage. Members will travel at the request of the government.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD 8570 Security + Cert prior to working onsite.
  • Minimum 6 months experience with the following: Microsoft Windows Environment (either workstations or servers).
  • Minimum 6 months experience with Linux distributions (Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) updated to v9.6 or higher. CentOS, Fedora, other UNIX variants (Solaris).
  • Minimum 6 months experience with Deployed firmware (External Memory Controller (EMC) disk array firmware, Cisco router/switch firmware, etc.)
  • Minimum 6 months experience with Application level Geospatial Intelligence and/or Signals Intelligence applications, or other AF DCGS Common Workstation (DCW) software.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with DCGS.
  • Former military a plus.
  • Familiar with computer networking principals; Cisco Cert Network Associate(CCNA) a plus.
  • Familiar with industry standard computer/electronic repair practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to the ESD.
  • ESD tasks include tracking issues reported from sites, researching items, and working with USAF Civilian and Military personnel, DGS-X, DCGS Mission Support Maintenance Personnel (DMSMP), and other on-site personnel to resolve issues.
  • The ESD will be manned by various DCGS contractors and Government personnel on a rotating basis which will require varying shifts and days worked.
  • Specific schedules will be coordinated by the on-site ESD Operations Manager.
  • The contractor personnel assigned to the ESD may be required to provide on-call services via telephone and/or be recalled for urgent issues.
