About the position

The Senior Sourcing Associate will work closely with the Americas Sourcing Lead and Managers to support business development initiatives and programs aimed at achieving financial objectives. This role serves as a key liaison among various teams, including Product Management, design, planning, and merchandising, to develop region-specific sourcing programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager and Lead in planning, execution, and communication of development strategy to meet financial goals.
• Communicate and execute design concepts to team, factories, and suppliers.
• Ensure production requirements are clearly communicated to all parties.
• Work with factories to maximize margin and attend proto reviews.
• Negotiate with vendors for competitive quotations and quality.
• Facilitate communication between Fabric and PMT team on development, costing, and buy process.
• Track sample submissions for various approvals.
• Collaborate with partners to meet key development calendar deliverable dates.
• Conduct risk assessments and alert management of high-risk areas.
• Maintain system updates with best data integrity and assist in system data entry.
• Ensure partners follow defined SOPs and workstreams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience in production and sourcing environment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Analytical thinker with strong follow-up skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and other analytical tools.
• Ability to read and understand tech drawings preferred.
• Self-motivated and independent worker.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
