About the position

We are looking for a skilled React JS Developer who can understand complex problems and quickly create Proofs of Concept (PoCs) using available JavaScript libraries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mentoring the team, assessing the quality of work produced, and conducting code reviews to provide early feedback. You will own and manage the end-to-end payload pipeline, plan component development for sprints, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Performance assessment of deliverables is crucial, ensuring that each payload meets the required performance and scalability Service Level Objectives (SLOs). You will work closely with design teams to translate mock-ups into code and implement new features while adhering to best coding standards. Additionally, you will lead design discussions, manage release processes, and perform necessary technical tasks for production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Understand complex problems and create quick PoCs using JS libraries.
• Mentor the team to enhance productivity.
• Assess the quality of work produced by the team.
• Conduct code reviews and provide early feedback.
• Manage end-to-end payload pipeline.
• Plan components for development and delivery in sprints.
• Develop and package payloads.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete tasks.
• Assess performance of deliverables and ensure they meet SLOs.
• Use industry-standard libraries to measure and profile payloads.
• Translate design mock-ups into code.
• Implement new features according to requirements and coding standards.
• Conduct detailed designs and lead design discussions.
• Lead task breakdown and peer reviews of design and code.
• Coordinate release management and perform bug triaging and fixing.
• Implement configuration migration processes and other UAT readiness tasks.

Requirements

• Solid grasp of React JS core concepts: Virtual DOM, React Hooks, Component Architecture, data-flow and state management.
• Proficient in JavaScript, Typescript, npm (or yarn), express, redux.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, Responsive Design, and styling with suitable JS libraries.
• Experience with testing libraries: Jest and Cypress.
• Ability to make remote calls from within React using node-fetch, Axios, etc.
• Experience in handling forms validation and submissions.
• Familiarity with KendoReact and styled components or similar libraries.
• Proficient in GIT for source code management, including creating feature branches and managing pull requests.
• Experience with Chrome Dev tools and React Dev Tool plugin for debugging.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio Code or NeoVIM as a development environment.
• Experience with Agile development methodology.
• Full stack development knowledge to lead architecture and design across tech stack (Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, DBM Framework, Oracle, Mongo DB).
• Experience building large-scale web applications on Azure cloud, Docker, and AKS.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with open source and proprietary styling libraries.
• Knowledge of additional JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
