Senior Software Engineer, Backend - Server Driven UI Platform

About the position

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Server Driven UI Platform team, you will build foundational pieces in our Backend SDKs that support Android, iOS, and Web. These include runtime Kotlin and Golang libraries as well as Intellij and Cursor-based development tools. You will work closely with engineers, technical product managers, and engineering managers across all parts of the engineering organization to deliver large and impactful initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Build foundational pieces in Backend SDKs that support Android, iOS, and Web.
• Develop runtime Kotlin and Golang libraries.
• Create Intellij and Cursor-based development tools.
• Collaborate with engineers, technical product managers, and engineering managers.
• Deliver large and impactful initiatives.

Requirements

• 6 years+ of Backend development experience.
• Expertise in Backend development using Golang, Kotlin, and Protobuf.
• Experience building applications in Web, Android, or iOS.
• Familiarity with other Server Driven UI systems.
• Product mindset in building out platform services.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Curiosity and ability to dive deep into different system architectures.
