As a Technical Salesforce Business Analyst, you will work closely with our Service, Operations and Sales business owners and cross functionally across Cetera along with our Salesforce Engineers, Architects, QA team design and deliver solutions for our Service and Operations organization within Cetera. This role combines business analysis skills with Salesforce expertise, focusing on understanding business needs and translating them into Salesforce solutions. You will analyze processes, gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure they align with business goals and technical capabilities. This position will have the flexibility to work a hybrid work scheduled from one our offices: Dallas TX, San Diego, CA, El Segundo, CA Shamburg IL, Dubuque, IA and ST. Cloud, MN.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate sessions to understand business needs, document requirements, and identify gaps.
  • Analyze existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and automation.
  • Design and propose Salesforce solutions to meet business needs, considering both functional and technical aspects.
  • Develop clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria. Create mockups, workflow/system flows diagrams, data mapping, use cases, etc.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity within Salesforce.
  • Define and execute the product roadmap for Salesforce solutions.
  • Prioritize features and functionalities based on business needs and customer feedback.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Manage expectations of different stakeholders, including customers and internal.
  • Manage the product backlog and prioritize user stories.
  • Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to ensure product alignment.
  • Articulate the product vision and ensure it aligns with business goals.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment.
  • Contribute to project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including developers and administrators.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce technical BA experience.
  • Experience with Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, including Omni Channel including case management and workflows.
  • Familiarity with Document Management, workflow and BPMs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive technical strategy within a team.
  • Strong communications skills and can lead discussions with business stakeholders and cross functional Engineering team members.
