About the position

The Senior Sales Specialist for Cryogenic Solutions at Azenta will lead the commercial strategy within a designated region, focusing on achieving annual sales targets. This role requires expertise in cold chain management and supply chain needs, particularly in key markets such as Cell & Gene Therapy, Pharma, and Biotech. The position is ideal for individuals who can work independently and are willing to travel to support sales activities.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales goals within defined region through the development, maintenance, and enhancement of customer relationships.
  • Drive growth by developing and successfully executing account management strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on creating a marketing plan, registering/planning/attending local vendor shows, creating and executing on campaigns.
  • Work cross-functionally with Inside Sales, Account Managers, other Sales Specialists, Technical Sales, and Corporate Accounts to ensure effective collaboration of resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required (Biology or Life Sciences).
  • 5+ years of experience in life sciences capital equipment sales in a designated region/territory (CGT and sample storage preferred).
  • Proven track record in meeting/exceeding sales goals.
  • Demonstrates keen business acumen, sound decision making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident communication (written and oral) skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders of internal and external organizations.
  • Must have valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in life sciences, clinical diagnostics, and biobanking preferred.
