About the position

The Senior Sales Account Manager at LG Component Solutions is responsible for managing and developing business opportunities within assigned HVAC OEM accounts. This role focuses on maximizing sales revenue and profits through strategic partnerships, effective communication of product roadmaps, and participation in industry events. The position requires a strong emphasis on relationship building and market analysis to drive sales success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, identify, qualify, and capture compressor business development opportunities within assigned HVAC OEM accounts.
  • Work with a cross-functional team including Sales Engineers, Demand Planners, and Operations Specialists as the main point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Develop value propositions to attract new sales opportunities and implement go-to-market strategies unique to the OEM.
  • Communicate future product and technology roadmaps between Component Solutions HQ and OEM clients to ensure long-term mutual success.
  • Participate in national and regional trade shows and supplier outings as a Brand Ambassador for LG Component Solutions.
  • Conduct competitive market and price analysis to develop and present RFQ packages and cost reduction/rebate programs.
  • Consult with the LGEUS Legal team to negotiate supply agreements with strategic OEMs.

Requirements

  • BA in business or BS in engineering required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales/project management.
  • Knowledge and prior experience in HVAC compressors or motors industry preferred.
  • Strong relationship building, presentation, and communication skills desired.
  • Process driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to pursue and attend additional training related to performance of job.
  • Ability to travel throughout North America and Asia.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the HVAC industry is preferred.
