About the position

The Senior Quality Specialist at Clorox is responsible for supporting Supply Chain and manufacturing operations in quality assurance. This role involves developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving quality systems and processes, ensuring that quality is integrated into products and processes. The specialist will lead initiatives, participate in project teams, and provide training while communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholders. The position requires travel to various manufacturing plants and suppliers to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and technical knowledge for troubleshooting and problem resolution at manufacturing plants and suppliers.
  • Ensure effective management and communication of improvement plans, drawing on internal and external experts as needed.
  • Oversee Critical to Quality (CTQ) capability for materials and formulations, identifying solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Participate on project teams as the Quality function subject matter expert during product development and technology upgrades.
  • Support continuous improvement of the Quality function by identifying and resolving gaps in quality systems and processes.
  • Assist in delivering Technical Services annual expense budget and performance metrics.
  • Drive adherence to management of change processes within the Quality function.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and Clorox Quality processes, maintaining data accuracy in Quality databases.
  • Communicate proactively and lead through influence across different organizational levels.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, R&D, and Manufacturing resources to deliver results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Five years of experience in quality, supply chain, regulatory, project management, or operations leadership.
  • Familiarity with GMP requirements and regulations is desired.
  • Ability to fluently communicate both orally and in writing.
