This role offers the opportunity to lead the automation testing efforts for complex software applications in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The Senior QA Automation Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. This position involves mentoring junior engineers, troubleshooting automation failures, and optimizing test strategies across web, local, and mobile platforms. You will play a critical role in improving testability, increasing test coverage, and enhancing the overall efficiency and reliability of software releases.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, local, and mobile applications.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps processes with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Runners, or Argo CD.
  • Perform exploratory and manual testing to ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test strategies, plans, and summary reports.
  • Identify, log, and troubleshoot defects across all phases of testing, ensuring accurate resolution.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers on test design, coding standards, and best practices.
  • Execute stress, performance, and load testing using tools like Locust and JMeter.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve automation processes, test coverage, and software quality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of SDET and software engineering experience with strong Python and JavaScript skills in an Agile environment.
  • 7+ years of experience creating, running, and troubleshooting automation scripts using open-source tools such as Selenium, Pytest, and Playwright.
  • Experience designing and maintaining Automation Framework Models (Modular, Keyword-Driven, Data-Driven, Hybrid).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to explain complex solutions simply.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and manage multiple tasks under minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in version control systems, preferably GitHub.
  • Experience with CI/CD integration and automated testing pipelines.
  • Knowledge of performance and load testing methodologies and tools.
  • U.S. work authorization is required.
  • Competitive base salary range of $135K to $145K/year, dependent on experience and location.
