About the position

The Senior Python Developer will be part of the Intraday Risk Engine team, responsible for computing risk metrics and complex scenarios for various financial instruments. This role involves collaborating with traders and risk managers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of risk data, as well as providing business analysis support. The position requires hands-on development skills in Python and the ability to work closely with various stakeholders to enhance and validate risk models.

Responsibilities

• Work with traders and portfolio strategists to ensure daily risk is delivered accurately and on time.
• Provide business analysis support to traders, risk managers, and trading support personnel.
• Explain and justify Risk, P/L Explain, and GL numbers to business teams.
• Assist business teams in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution.
• Collaborate with FO Quant, Risk Quant, and analytics developers to support new credit derivative products and model valuation.
• Coordinate deployment and go-live plans with technology and business partners.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience in risk analysis and financial derivatives.
• Ability to communicate effectively with traders and risk management personnel.
• Experience in business analysis and UAT processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with credit derivatives and model validation.
• Familiarity with regulatory initiatives and business enablement projects.
